We a group of 11 (USA, Canada, Philippines, Spain & Germany) startet 7:45 AM with our tour guide Duc Alex to the Mekong Delta Kajak Tour. Within the 2 hours drive, Alex told us a lot of interessting things and facts about Vietnam and history. During the day we visit by boat the floating market and eat local fruits, got a „lesson“ in rice paper, rice vine, rice popcorn and coconut sweets production. And saw the mekong delta honey harvest! After that we had a boat tour trough the delta and arrived at lunch station. All volunteers could made a kajak ride (20-30 min) in a party of two or alone. Then we got in for cooking class, we made spring rolls and Asian panecakes. Before we got back to the bus which took us home to Saigon we made a bicycle ride along the watee canal & fruit trees and switches into small wooden boats in party of 4 to drive through the tiny water streets along the local homes. I enjoyed this trip a lot and would recommend it to other travellers.

The tour offers a large Variety of Locations, views, activities, impressions = much more than I expected for just two days. We saw the amazing Mekong River + beautiful landscape. I could take some nice Pictures at the Floating market and, by night, in Can Tho. We learned about traditional work, e.g. how to produce noodles from Rice, and so on. We did some very touristical activities, which I do not like soooo much (e.g. sitting in a horse drawn carriage for a distance, I usually would walk) - but by the end, it was not too much of this. Our guide did not talk too much :-) and he was very busy to make us happy.

Nice trip, worth the money. Our guide (tu) spoke good English, provided us with interesting information. Small group size off 11 in minivan. Than we changed on a boat, saw a kind of floating market (not that amazing) l, tasted fruits abord a boot, cruised the mekong, saw how some local products where made, went on a short 20 min kayak stroll. For lunch we cold help to prepare 2 easy local dishes, which was also nice. Finally we where bycicking through the fruit gardens and the local area before heading back to HCMS. Overall a very nice day (don't expact it to be very sporty)

We made the tour with our guide Tu. He's a very cheerful person, was always open to our questions and shared so many interesting facts about Vietnamese culture with us. I loved how diverse the tour was with its many different activities, food and even some crafts presentations. Maybe the condition of the bicycles could have been a little better (the brakes didn't work properly and the saddles weren't really adjusted), but that's just a minor point. The kayaking part was all the more entertaining. :)
